Architecture, Design & Making

Wood House is a three-storey home in exposed timber on a tight infill site in north-west London. Designed and built by Seb, and featured on Grand Designs.

Buildings, interiors and objects, from first sketch to finished thing.

Beyond the drawing

Good design comes from understanding how things are made. The work moves between drawing, prototyping, fabrication and building, because that's usually where the best decisions happen.

Working together

Your project

A new home, an awkward site, a renovation or a single piece of furniture: the starting point is the same. Work out what you need, then how it could be made well. My role shifts to suit the job, whether that's drawings alone or making and building too.

Collaboration

Always open to working with makers, manufacturers, designers and studios, in the UK and abroad. That could mean shared making projects, material research, exhibitions and talks, or design partnerships.
